About the Role
We are looking for a sharp, self-driven Data Operations professional to take ownership of operational activities for data systems and processes that interface with frontend user applications. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time.
This is an initial engagement of 3 to 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and business need. We are looking for someone who can commit to the full duration and transition into an extended arrangement seamlessly.
This is not a role for someone who needs hand-holding. We need someone who can walk in, understand complex data ecosystems quickly, take ownership, and keep things moving. If you are used to working autonomously in high-stakes commercial or digital data environments — this is the role for you.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own and manage day-to-day operational activities for data systems and processes that support frontend user-facing applications
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and continuity across commercial and digital data pipelines
- Identify and resolve operational issues, data discrepancies, and process bottlenecks independently
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including commercial, marketing, IT, and digital teams
- Monitor system interfaces between backend data sources and frontend applications, escalating issues where needed
- Document processes, data flows, and operational procedures to support knowledge continuity
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across data workflows
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in at least one of the following areas:
Digital Campaign Data
- Management and operations of digital marketing data pipelines
- Familiarity with campaign performance data, audience segmentation, tagging, and attribution frameworks
- Experience with data feeds that support digital channels — CRM, DMP, CDP, or similar platforms
Commercial Data
- Hands-on experience with commercial pharma or life sciences data — including Sales data, Claims data, and Field Interactions / Call Activity data
- Understanding of commercial data hierarchies, affiliations, and territory structures
- Experience with data vendors and syndicated data sources (IQVIA, Symphony, Veeva, etc.) is a strong advantage
Skills & Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in data operations, data management, or commercial analytics
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage operational priorities without close supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — you can diagnose a data issue and drive it to resolution
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable engaging with both technical and business stakeholders
- Pharma or life sciences industry experience is a plus, not a prerequisite
- Proficiency in SQL and/or data querying tools; familiarity with data integration or ETL processes is advantageous
