Location: onsite Cary, NC
About DocTract
DocTract is a modern, AI-enabled SaaS Policy Management platform helping organizations manage, govern, review, approve, publish, search, and distribute policies and procedures across their workforce.
We serve organizations of all sizes, with particular strength in regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, higher education, government, energy, and other policy-intensive environments. Our customers use DocTract to replace manual processes, SharePoint-based policy libraries, and legacy Policy Management systems with a modern, easy-to-use platform designed specifically for policy governance.
We are growing and looking for a seasoned Senior Implementation Consultant to join our Professional Services team in Cary, NC.
About the Role
DocTract is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to lead customer implementations from post-sale handoff through go-live.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who can learn a focused SaaS product quickly, guide customers through a structured implementation process, translate discovery decisions into configuration, support data migration activities, conduct training, and drive projects to completion.
This is not a junior coordinator role and not a passive project tracking role. We need a seasoned implementation professional who can manage customer conversations, keep projects moving, identify blockers, escalate unresolved issues appropriately, and ensure customers successfully go live.
What You’ll Achieve (Core Responsibilities)
- Lead Client Implementations: Own the implementation experience from post-sale to go-live, driving swift and successful user adoption.
- Strategic Solutioning: Lead discovery sessions to understand client goals and tailor the platform setup and rollout plan.
- Configuration Expertise: Serve as the primary resource for best practices and configuration. While the product is not overly technical, you will suggest workflows to help clients build streamlined solutions.
- Drive Project Completion: Expertly manage project timelines and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure a timely go-live.
- Ensure Customer Success: Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth handoffs and serve as a liaison for client needs.
- Support Data Migration Activities: Assist with customer data preparation, metadata review, and migration-related tasks needed to configure and launch the customer successfully.
What You'll Bring (Qualifications)
- Senior Experience: 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS implementation, onboarding, technical solutioning, or professional services.
- An Owner's Mindset: You are proactive, self-motivated, and hold yourself accountable to learn and adapt quickly with minimal assistance.
- Technical Confidence: You have demonstrable experience configuring B2B SaaS platforms and can "explain complex features simply and clearly".
- Project Management Skills: You are highly organized and can successfully manage multiple client implementations at different stages.
- Customer-First Mindset: You are passionate about customer satisfaction and are as invested in the client’s success as they are.
Highly Valued:
- Industry Experience: Experience in Policy Management, GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance), or implementing software into regulated industries (e.g., Healthcare, Government, Financial Services).
- Technical Integration Experience: Familiarity with enterprise integrations such as SSO (SAML/OIDC) or SCIM, and data migration strategies.
Certifications: PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications.
Benefits
- Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.
- 401(k) Plan with 401(k) Matching.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid Holidays.
- Life, Short-Term, & Long-Term Disability Insurance.
Why join DocTract?
DocTract is a focused SaaS company with a mature product, strong customer traction, and growing enterprise opportunity. Our platform solves a real operational problem for organizations that need accurate, current, governed, searchable policies and procedures.
This role is a strong fit for someone who wants ownership, customer impact, and the opportunity to work closely with an experienced team in a small, growing SaaS company. You will not be buried in layers of process. You will directly help customers get live, adopt the system, and improve how they manage critical policy and procedure content.
If you are a seasoned SaaS implementation professional who can lead, configure, train, communicate, and drive customers to successful go-live, we would like to talk with you.
