Job Summary
As a Medical Office Supervisor, you will be the driving force behind the smooth operation of our healthcare facility. You will lead a dynamic team, ensuring that all administrative functions are executed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Your expertise in medical office management and fiscal oversight will be vital in creating an environment that fosters both operational excellence and exceptional patient experiences.
What you’ll do
- Oversee daily operations of the medical office, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Work front desk as first point of contact.
- Manage clinic schedule of patients. Practice has urgent care model with walk ins.
- Supervise and mentor administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.
- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) systems to enhance patient data management and streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with human resources regarding functions including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for office personnel.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and sensitive information.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize practice management and improve patient care delivery.
- Analyze operational processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and service quality.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office management and clinic supervision or a similar role within a healthcare setting.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as eClinicalWorks.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards.
- Experience in mentoring ,guiding and managing staff.
- Ability to foster community relationships.
- Previous supervisory experience with a focus on team development and performance enhancement.
