- No productivity requirements; the focus is on keeping workers healthy
- Injury management, screening, and prevention performed in an industrial setting
- A member of a nationwide successful team of industrial therapists
- Monday-Friday schedule
Responsibilities
- Assess symptoms of musculoskeletal soreness and provide treatment within OSHA First Aid Guidelines
- Provide early intervention assessment and care
- Coach employees on optimal body mechanics and work postures
- Identify and assess ergonomic areas of concern and recommend solutions to lower risk
- Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based PT care
- Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
- Consult with safety team, plant management, production supervisors, and other stakeholders
- Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
- Document patient care services
Skills
- Proven work experience as a physical therapist
- Intensive education and clinical expertise
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Drive to continually learn and grow
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid license to practice physical therapy
- Graduate degree or greater in physical therapy
