The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is responsible for radiological care to patients of all ages, utilizing ionizing radiation for diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomical and physiologic disorders. Must have working knowledge of conventional Radiology and the ability to operate all X-ray equipment and PACS. Proven competency in addition to conventional radiography, with working knowledge in at least one other area such as CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology is preferred.
Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications for patient procedures, as well as providing patient education. May be required to take call.
