Job Summary and Qualifications

Administers therapeutic and diagnostic modalities to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies. Responds to Code Blue and MRT emergencies and maintain airway, breathing and life support under the supervision of a physician or a direct written order. Takes patient care load as required. Aids in covering department leadership functions when the cardiopulmonary manager is unavailable. Other duties as assigned

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Graduate of an accredited program of Respiratory Therapy. Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
• 2 years' experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
• One year of supervisory experience is preferred, but not required.
