Job Summary And Qualifications
The quality coordinator will work in department as mammography technician. In addition, will assume a wide range of managerial, data gathering, and tracking and reporting responsibilities, including ACR accreditation and MQSA compliance. Work collaboratively with the Director and/or Manager to continuously improve operational efficiency and patient care. Anticipate departmental needs to develop both long and short-term goals that can be operationalized through strategic planning and growth initiatives. Focus on the development and monitoring of standards of care in breast imaging, oversee clinical workflows as outlined by the radiologist, and is responsible for standardizing best practice. Oversee clinical proficiencies in selective proper technical factors, producing diagnostic clinical radiographs, ensuring safe and competent operation of radiographic equipment, maintaining compliance on all accreditation and regulatory requirements. The position may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor and must have the same licensure or have completed the same training to satisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student. Expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures with general guidance and direction by Manager and/or department Director.

What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT. Mammography registry required.
- BLS certification required upon hire (AHA or Red Cross) or within 30days of your date of hire.
- 2 years’ experience required in mammography
- Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively meet the needs of the patient/internal and external customer. (ARRT-M) Mammography
- QA experience preferred.
