Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care, managing medication therapy, and supporting the overall health and wellness of patients.
Your Role:
- Accurately fill and verify prescriptions while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Conduct thorough medication reviews to identify potential drug interactions, contraindications, or allergies.
- Provide expert medication counseling to patients, improving health outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized medication management plans.
- Administer immunizations and educate patients on preventive care.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and ensure proper stock levels.
- Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing, record keeping, and inventory management.
- Participate in compounding medications as required by patient needs or prescriptions.
- Maintain exceptional customer service and build strong patient relationships.
- Support acute care services as needed, particularly in pain management protocols.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
✔ Active Pharmacist License in the state of Washington.
✔ Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a passion for patient care.
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
✔ Previous experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
✔ Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for efficient workflow management.
✔ Experience supervising or training pharmacy technicians is a plus.
✔ Strong knowledge of inventory management practices within a pharmacy setting.
✔ Understanding of compounding medications and relevant regulations is beneficial.
