What are the responsibilities and job description for the X-Ray Technician position at Doctor's Health Network?
The X-Ray Technician will complete the imaging examination using a state-of-the-art robotic machine, according to the study protocol and company policies.

Essentially Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follows and complies with standing orders
- Comply with all HIPAA regulations
- Performs examination according to study protocols for each individual study.
- Provide explanations of examinations, answering questions and offer chaperones to patients in accordance to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of basic principles of radiation protection and equipment
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge through continued education; training and interaction with other radiology technicians.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, policies, and OSHA regulations.
- Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
- Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to the company's policies and procedures.
- Maintains production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures; observing radiographic results; making necessary adjustments.
- Provide all proper electronic and paper documentation according to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned such as welcome eligible participants to the study, facilitate completion of the study questionnaire and review patient informed consents forms with participants
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent and graduate from an accredited radiology school and/or related military training.
- Certificate or Associated degree from accredited radiology program
- Must have current ARRT registration in good standing and licensed in the State of Nevada.
License and Certification:
- BLS Certification(Preferred)
- AART Certification(Must)
