What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kit Production - Kit Assembler position at Doctor's Data Inc?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembly of specimen collection kits to satisfy inventory and client needs
- Prepare and package kit orders for shipment
- Completes shipping/receiving reports and documents activities
- Assists in maintaining inventory of completed collection kits
- Work with S/R Manager to 1) monitor incoming sample kit supplies, 2) report any discrepancies in supplies from vendors or in-house sources and 3) report problems with equipment and production
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma (GED)
- Ability to perform basic math functions to calculate weight measurement, volume, distance and money operations
- Proficient in basic computer operations including email, internet browsing, file management, and data entry. Experienced with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software and systems.
- Ability to work the scheduled shift Monday - Friday 8:30AM -5:00PM

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift -Essential
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules -Essential
- Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions -Essential
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and climb or balance.
- Light work that includes lifting and and/or moving up to 20 pounds - constantly
- Medium work that includes lifting and and/or moving up to 35 pounds - occasionally
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
