In-House Counsel – Litigation, Corporate Transactional & Real Estate Focus
Our nation-wide plastic surgery practice is seeking a highly skilled and motivated In-House Assistant Attorney/Litigator with experience in litigation, corporate transactions, and real estate to join our growing legal team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance and support to the practice on a wide range of matters, including litigation, corporate transactions, real estate, healthcare regulations, contracts, employment law, corporate governance, and risk management.
- Review, draft, and negotiate complex legal documents including contracts, agreements, leases, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in litigation, real estate, corporate, and healthcare law.
- Collaborate with executives, managers, and department heads to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
- Represent the practice in litigation, corporate, and real estate matters as necessary.
- Coordinate with outside counsel and oversee external legal matters.
- Assist in developing and implementing corporate legal policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice in New York (required) and New Jersey (preferred).
- Significant experience in litigation, corporate transactions, and real estate law.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience required.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws and compliance requirements a plus.
- Proven ability to manage complex legal matters with strategic and business-minded thinking.
- Excellent research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
