HVAC Service Manager

The Service Manager will oversee all aspects of managing the service technicians as well as manage the maintenance base and maintain customer retention. A solid candidate will be able to leverage existing HVAC Service management experience in a small business environment where intelligence, people skills, and cost consciousness are critical. This role will require the candidate to have a positive change within the company immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage day-to-day operational decision making within a fast-growing small business

· Understanding and reporting on key metrics and their impact on the business

· Effectively control costs

· Team player with successful history of leading and building teams with direct responsibility for hiring/terminating employees

· Proven implementation and execution abilities, and the ability to take ownership of key decision processes

· Sound strategic planning skills

· Perform technician ride along for training

Qualifications include:

· At least 10 years of operational leadership experience directing service staff and personal knowledge of HVAC experience is a must!

· Exposure to managing a service business and/or employees working outside of the office

· Stable work history with ability to provide references

· Ability to pass drug and background check
