Contract (Remote)
Documentation Strategies, Inc. (“Docstrats”) is searching for a UI UX Designer to work on a contract basis. (12-18 month duration) Must be able to be a W2 employee. No C2C
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
- Candidates must be able to work normal business hours on east coast time
- Must be able to work as a W2 hourly employee
- Must be proficient in Sketch
- Experience in requirement gathering in collaboration with Product Owners
- Must be open to constructive feedback, a team player, and have experience working within an in-house design team
- Comfortable working remotely is a must
- Strong communication skills - communicate on a regular basis with business leads, business analysts, product owners, technical development - to understand business requirements
- Ability to adhere to and contribute to a pre-existing style guide and pattern library
- Ability to translate complex business problems into visual solutions through wireframes, user flows, mockups, etc.
Desired:
- Beneficial to have but not required to be familiar with Azure Dev-Ops
- Beneficial to have AI skills
- Experience in designing software applications
- Good time management skills
- Up to date with modern design standards
- Some knowledge of Usability and HCI, research and testing experience is a plus but not required
- Critical thinking, problem solving, detail orientated
- Strong presentation skills, must be ready to prepare and present design work regularly
- Design Portfolio required
Salary : $95 - $110
