Description
The services You will provide the client project team: As a Technical Engineer Contractor, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering solutions. Designing and developing technical solutions to address complex engineering problems. Conducting system integration, testing, and validation to ensure the performance and reliability of technical solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance. Performing troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to maintain system functionality. Documenting technical specifications, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance.
Primary Skill Required for the Role: Microsoft - SCCM - System Center Configuration Manager
Level Required for Primary Skill: Intermediate (3-5 years experience)

Additional Details For Role
Level- Staff
- Develop, test, and execute deployment plans for enterprise applications using MSI and/or App-V packaging.
- Manage remote deployments via systems management platforms, following standardized operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), QA management, and inventory validation to ensure successful releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, production support, and root-cause analysis.
- Automate deployment and configuration tasks using scripting (VB script, PowerShell).
- Monitor deployments and application performance using process, registry, and file monitoring tools.
- Coordinate deployments through Active Directory and Group Policy Objects.
- Collaborate with US-based and international teams (Europe/India), communicating proactively on risks and issues.
- Document deployment activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- 3 5 years of hands-on experience in desktop engineering, application packaging, and remote deployment.
- Proficiency with SCCM, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and deployment monitoring tools.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMWare) and monitoring utilities (Process Monitor, Registry Monitor, File Monitor).
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and logical thinking abilities.
- Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and adaptable to evolving tools and environments.
- Understanding of databases and SQL triggers is an advantage.
- Experience with high-volume deployments and upgrades (over a million annually).
- Familiarity with Numecent (Cloudpaging), EUPS (Unix/Windows) tools is preferred.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with global teams.
