Must Work on W2
Location: Chicago, IL ( Remote with less than 25% travel to Chicago, IL. Incurred expenses will be reimbursable )
Duration:5 Months
Industry Experience: Must have Public Health Department

Role Overview
The HR SOP Writer will engage with up to three client HR stakeholders to capture and confirm their needs and expectations regarding SOP structure, content, and detail. They will develop content for approximately 30 HR SOPs, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness. Additionally, the writer will facilitate review sessions with the client to confirm accuracy, gather feedback, and make necessary revisions to meet the client's standards and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Capture and Confirm Requirements: Engage with client HR stakeholders to capture and confirm their needs and expectations regarding the structure, content, and level of detail required for the HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Identify Priority Process Areas: Determine and prioritize the specific HR processes that the client has requested to be documented in detailed SOPs, ensuring that the most critical areas are addressed first.
- Collect Pre-existing Content: Gather any pre-existing client content that can assist in the development of the HR SOPs, leveraging existing documentation to streamline the writing process.
- Facilitate Working Sessions: Schedule and facilitate working sessions with various client HR leaders or staff as needed to obtain additional information and insights necessary for the SOP content, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation.
- Draft and Review SOPs: Write draft versions of the SOPs and review them with the appropriate client HR leaders to ensure that the content meets their expectations and requirements.
- Incorporate Feedback and Finalize: Incorporate feedback received during review sessions with client HR leaders and finalize the SOP content, ensuring that the final documents are accurate, complete, and aligned with the client's standards.
- Attention to detail needed to capture SOP content
- Patience and flexibility needed to respond to evolving client requests
- Strong listening skills and empathy to appreciate the unique nature of client's business and operational constraints
- Persistence to finish standard operating procedures despite organizational and client constraints.
- Proven experience in Human Resources function and HR processes
- Strong knowledge of HR processes that underly HR Standard Operating Procedures
- Experience with HR technology applications such as Oracle EBS, Salesforce and Workforce
- Experience writing process documents and operating procedures
- Strong written communication skills, able to write complex topics in straight forward and easy to understand terms
Bachelor's degree in a subject that emphasizes strong writing skills

Salary : $55 - $65
