Front Desk Receptionist | South Portland, ME
Dockside Dental (formerly Mind Your Mouth) is looking for a friendly, organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team! We are a welcoming, patient-focused private practice that believes going to the dentist should feel comfortable, approachable, and never intimidating.
The ideal candidate enjoys helping people and has excellent communication skills. Dental office experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Check patients in and out for appointments
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Collect patient payments
- Verify dental insurance benefits
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Dental or medical office experience preferred, but not required
- Willingness to learn and be part of a supportive team
