Docker is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and people-focused Office Manager for our new Seattle office. In addition to office operations, this role will provide executive assistant support including calendar coordination, meeting logistics, travel support, and handling sensitive administrative matters with discretion. This role will be instrumental in building an engaging, productive, and inclusive workplace that reflects Docker’s culture and values.
You will play a foundational role in establishing office systems, vendor partnerships, workplace experience standards, and operational processes, for the office in Seattle, as well as potential future office expansions. You will serve as the go-to person for all things office related, partnering closely with People, IT, Finance, and executive leadership to ensure a seamless and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Additionally, you will be the owner and driver of our partnership and collaboration with our facilities vendors and managers.

Responsibilities
Office Operations & Facilities
- Establish and manage daily operations of the Seattle office
- Oversee facilities management, including landlord relations and maintenance coordination
- Manage office vendors including cleaning, security, utilities, catering, supplies, and other workplace services
- Develop and maintain office budgets in partnership with Finance
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and workplace safety standards
- Create and maintain operational processes and documentation
- Provide support as an executive assistant for 1 - 2 Docker executives
- Coordinate complex calendars and meetings
- Arrange business travel, itineraries, and related scheduling support
- Prepare meeting materials and support follow-up actions as needed
- Assist with expense reporting, approvals, and other administrative workflows
- Handle sensitive information with a high level of discretion, judgment, and professionalism
- Serve as a reliable point of coordination between executives and cross-functional partners
- Support onboarding logistics for new hires in partnership with People and IT
- Coordinate conference rooms, shared spaces, seating arrangements, and workspace assignments
- Manage office access systems, visitor processes, and badging
- Support office usage planning and day-to-day workplace needs
- Plan and execute essential onsite meetings, team gatherings, and office-based events as needed
- Collaborate with IT on equipment provisioning, office technology, and troubleshooting
- Partner with People and Recruiting teams to support hiring growth in Seattle
- Coordinate with global office operations to ensure consistency across locations
- Contribute to workplace policies and future office planning initiatives
- Coordinate with Finance on budgets, purchasing, and vendor payments
- 8 years of experience in office management, facilities management, workplace operations, executive support, or related roles
- Experience launching or scaling a new office location strongly preferred
- Strong vendor management and budget oversight experience
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a technology company or high-growth environment preferred
- Proficiency with workplace management tools and common office software platforms
