Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Threes Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to child welfare and early childhood education principles, along with the ability to implement effective curriculum development strategies tailored to the needs of infants.
Hours
This is a closing position. Hours will be 9:30-6 Monday through Friday.
Duties
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their child's development.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among children.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be able to pass a state and federal background check.
- Experience in daycare or childcare settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a positive learning environment.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR is a plus.
We offer a very supportive environment at Dock. There is always someone available to help whether it's a bathroom break or behavioral support in your classroom. We maintain low ratios and all classrooms have 2 full-time teachers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
