DOCENT is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Docent / Museum Guide to lead immersive cultural experiences throughout the Franklin and greater Middle Tennessee area. This is a part-time, flexible position ideal for individuals who are passionate about art, history, education, and creating meaningful experiences for others.
As a DOCENT Guide, you will facilitate interactive presentations and discussions for diverse audiences, with a particular focus on older adults in senior living communities. Programs typically last 60–90 minutes and are designed to be educational, conversational, and highly engaging. All presentation materials, training, and program content will be provided by DOCENT.

- Deliver engaging and interactive cultural experiences in a variety of community settings.

- Present art, history, and cultural topics in an accessible and compelling manner.
- Adapt presentation style and pacing to meet the needs of different audiences.
- Represent DOCENT with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm.
- Travel to program locations throughout the Franklin and Middle Tennessee area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Art History required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Passion for art, history, culture, and lifelong learning.

- Natural storyteller with the ability to captivate and engage audiences.

- Experience working within senior living communities is preferred.
