Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of food items following established recipes and safety standards to ensure quality and consistency.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently.
• Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
• Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing cash transactions, giving change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Maintain food safety standards by practicing proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness in all work areas.
• Keep the workspace organized, sanitized, and stocked with necessary supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting food preparation and cooking processes as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management when restocking is required.
• Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between cashiering and food preparation duties seamlessly.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle cash register operations using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Culinary experience or food preparation skills that support efficient kitchen operations.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods.
• Proven customer service skills with an emphasis on creating positive dining experiences.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely in a fast-paced setting is a plus.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
