Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha and Micros
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, fostering positive guest relations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS systems such as OpenTable or cashiering tools
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas in accordance with health regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, including fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in upselling, guest services, and hospitality roles enhances success in this position
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s schedule
