Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartenderto join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and efficiently preparing and serving beverages. This role requires a strong knowledge of POS systems, food safety standards, and a passion for the food and beverage industry. Previous experience in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is preferred. The Bartenderwill play a key role in enhancing guest experiences and ensuring smooth operations at our venue.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to promote a positive atmosphere.
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware as needed to ensure seamless service during shifts.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with legal alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient bar operations during busy periods such as nightlife events, banquets, or catering functions.
- Uphold all food handling procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing, mixing drinks, and garnishing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Demonstrated ability in sales, upselling drinks, and providing outstanding customer service.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Experience working in the food industry with an understanding of food safety standards is advantageous.
