DocPopcorn/dipping dots are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your ability to handle cash, manage sales transactions, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area will contribute to the overall success of our retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, processing sales transactions accurately.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain an organized checkout area, including stocking supplies and keeping the register clean.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves as needed and reporting low stock levels.
• Provide support to customers by answering questions regarding products and services.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.
• Uphold company policies regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency.
• Ability to supervise junior staff or assist in training new employees is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced customer communication.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for managing transactions accurately.
