We're hiring a Pharmacy Manager (Registered Pharmacist) to join our team!
- As head of our pharmacy team, you oversee all day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring appropriate inventory levels, accurate record-keeping, and best practices in pharmaceutical distribution of restricted substances. You lead a team of pharmacy professionals, creating schedules for best coverage of busy times and train new employees. Our ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Pharmacy Manager/PIC. This role requires superb attention to detail and organizational skills.
Pharmacy Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day pharmacy operations, including customer interactions and problem resolution
- Ensure proper inventory levels, making adjustments to suit the pharmacy's individual needs
- Keep accurate records of inventory and client information
- Train new employees
- Create staffing schedules to ensure maximum coverage
Pharmacy Manager Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited US College of Pharmacy
- Registered Pharmacist license in Active/Good Standing in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- Minimum 2 years of Pharmacy Management Experience
- Strong organizational skills and superb attention to detail
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Compounding Highly Preferred
- Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize workload appropriately
- Cooperative, respectful, works well in a team-centered environment
- Ability to self-direct and work independently
- Strong attention to detail, organized

Work Environment:
This position operates primarily in a controlled, retail pharmacy environment, with a non-sterile and sterile compounding laboratory. The position requires the use of standard office equipment and specialized pharmaceutical compounding equipment. The position entails frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Pay rate to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. A full background check and drug screening are required for this position.
