Appliance Repair Technician

We’re looking for skilled and motivated Appliance Repair Technicians to join our growing team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities-

• Travel daily to client homes using your personal vehicle (vehicle reimbursement provided)
• Use your smartphone to receive job assignments, view your schedule, manage invoices, and document services through company apps(clients won’t see your personal number).
• Diagnose and repair major household appliances (kitchen/laundry)
• Provide clients with service options, timeframes, and repair estimates
• Educate clients on proper use and maintenance of their appliances
• Document services performed and parts used via photo and app-based tools
• Billing, Invoicing and collecting payments from clients
• Track hours and job completion through provided apps
• Maintain your truck inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standards(company-supplied parts)
• Supply and maintain your own tools (we provide specialty tools)
• Stay current with training and industry best practices
• Perform in your role and achieve your goals, providing excellent service and technical/repair support, and creating satisfied customers, in accordance with Doc Danielson Appliance Repair’s core values

Job Skills and Qualifications-

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Proven experience repairing, installing and maintaining residential appliances (2 years’ experience preferred)
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• The ability to lift heavy objects
• The ability to use various hand tools
• The ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Comfortable interacting with clients in their homes (including pets)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills

Work Location-

• 100% Travel
• Prefer to have a candidate that lives in the Frisco/Plano/McKinney area
