Role Description
Dobbs Equity Partners is seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in buy-side mergers and acquisitions. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Memphis, TN. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing financial due diligence, assessing investment opportunities, developing strategic insights, and supporting deal execution. Additionally, the candidate will provide operational support for the portfolio companies as needed in Corporate Finance, Insurance, and Accounting. This includes analyzing target companies, preparing financial models, preparing investment memorandums, and collaborating with executive teams to support growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data effectively.
- Experience in Finance and Investments, with a focus on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, or corporate development.
- Proficiency in Due Diligence processes, including market analysis, operational reviews, and risk assessments.
- Solid understanding of Accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in creating detailed financial models, forecasts, and valuations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA or CFA or strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and additional financial software tools.
