Delivering high-quality IT, cybersecurity, and data analytics solutions through proven and innovative methods is our vision.Job Description:Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a self-driven and resourceful Senior SharePoint Engineer to provide engineering, integration, and cybersecurity support to design, build, and test enhanced services for the Department of Navy's IT architecture. Offers a wide range of roles, from cybersecurity experts to engineers specializing in systems, networks, software, and data center services.Duties:Technical Lead to design, customize, and debug workflows (automate business processes), web sites, web parts, form and list/library, and other custom applications and/or tools using various programming languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, Microsoft .NET, HTML etc.) within the MS SharePoint environmentWorking with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectivesDesign a SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint SE migration and implementation planPlan activities, schedules, risks, and resources needed for deployments or upgradesProvide technical execution and expertise in migrating current and future content from external systems into the SharePoint systemPlan SharePoint search topology, strategy, and configure federated searchProvide SharePoint site structure/navigational architecture guidance and execution, to include Communities of Practice (CoP), working areas, and websites based on established standards and best practicesPerform SharePoint customization, integration, and upgrades into the engineering, test and production environments in accordance with Configuration Management, Change Management and Security policies and processesIntegrating SharePoint with other business applications (e.g., CRM, ERP) and Microsoft products (e.g., Office 365, Teams, OneDrive)Make recommendations and perform installations of new major releases, product updates, hot fixes and service packs. Install and test recommendations as requiredCustomize and implement tools and capabilities to include Dashboards, Web sites, Employee Library, and Reports for SharePointCreating custom forms, templates, and web parts using tools like InfoPath and SharePoint DesignerCreating and maintaining documentation for SharePoint solutions, including architecture, configurations, and proceduresImplementing and managing security policies, permissions, and governance for the SharePoint environmentProviding technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint-related issuesQualifications:Required Education and Experience:Bachelors degree in engineering (or similar technical field) and eight (8 ) years relevant experience; Masters degree and six (6 ) years of relevant experience; PhD with three (3 ) years of experience. 12 years of relevant experience in the above-cited duties may be substituted in lieu of a completed higher education degree.A current DoD 8140/8570 and IAT Level III certificationA current/valid IAT LVL III Certification (Security CE, CCNP, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, and CCSP).Experience with the design, implementation, and support of network infrastructure solutions for routing and switching of complex networks.Experience implementing and troubleshooting WAN topologies leveraging ethernet, T-Carrier, and Optical Carrier circuits.Experience and understanding of networking fundamentals such as network protocols and common services (e.g., DNS, FTP, SSH, SNMP).Implementation and troubleshooting experience of networks using concepts/protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs and emerging concepts such as Software Defined Networking.Prior experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer.An Engineering degree with a networking focus.Eight (8 ) total years of experience in the architecture/design, development, and implementation of Wide Area Network (WAN) architecture.Exceptional verbal, written (including the development of CONOPS and procedural documentation), interpersonal, and presentation skills.Experience using Python to automate routine network tasks.Understanding and experience with Software Defined Network (SDN) deployments.Juniper Enterprise Routing and Switching, Professional (JNCIP-ENT).Advanced Network monitoring and log analysis tool experience with the ability to deploy and improve the current deployments of these systems.Experience working in a telecommunications carrier environment performing mission critical network implementations.Self-driven and resourceful in achieving goals independently as well as in cooperation with others.Experience with application of DoD IAVAs, DISA STIGs, and NIST security controlsTechnical Skills:SharePoint Expertise: Strong knowledge of SharePoint 2016/2019 and SharePoint SE.Development Skills: Proficiency in .NET, PowerShell, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.Power Platform: Experience with PowerApps and Power Automate.Microsoft Graph API: Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API for automation and data integration.SQL Server: Knowledge of SQL Server for SharePoint database management, including experience with Always-On High Availability.Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals desiredMicrosoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert desiredWorking Environment:OnsiteRequired Clearance:An active/current TS/SCI Security Clearance is required.Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy:Dobbs Defense Solutions is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
