This role focuses on contract execution, compliance support, and system accuracy across the full contract lifecycle, operating under established processes and management direction.This position is ideal for early-career or developing contracting professionals who are detail oriented, dependable, and interested in building hands-on experience in government contracting. This role does not include independent contract negotiation authority services.Duties:Contract Administration Support:Support the end-to-end administration of contracts, from pre-award setup through post-award administration and closeout, under management guidancePrepare, process, and maintain nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, prime contracts, and subcontracts using approved templatesTrack and maintain contract documentation, modifications, funding, and periods of performance in UnanetEnsure contract files are complete, accurate, and audit-readyCompliance and Requirements Tracking:Track FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific clauses, including required flowdowns, and escalate questions or issues to managementSupport reviews of Government RFPs by identifying compliance requirements and contractual obligationsAssist with ensuring contract data in Unanet aligns with contract terms and internal systemsProgram and Internal Coordination:Support program management teams by tracking contract requirements, deliverables, and reporting obligationsAssist Supply Chain and Subcontracts teams by ensuring subcontract documentation aligns with prime contract requirementsSupport customization of subcontract templates under management direction when requiredContract Actions and Reporting:Process contract actions such as modifications, funding updates, extensions, and task orders as directedSupport government, prime contractor, and internal data calls with accurate and timely informationCommunicate contract-related issues clearly and escalate items requiring interpretation or approvalWork Management and Professional ConductManage assigned workload independently, track deadlines, and proactively initiate tasksPerform additional duties and special projects associated with this position as assignedDemonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and accountability in all contract-related activitiesQualifications:Required Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredRelevant experience, training, or professional certifications may substitute for formal educationExperience or demonstrated interest in government contracting or contract administrationHands-on experience using Unanet (GovCon edition) or willingness to learn quicklyBasic understanding of contracts, compliance, or administrative processesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to follow established procedures and escalate appropriatelyStrong written and verbal communication skillPrior experience supporting a government contractor or federal programFamiliarity with FAR, DFARS, or contract flowdownsExperience supporting audits, compliance reviews, or data callsWorking Environment:Hybrid (Must report to Landover, Maryland, two days per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.)Required Clearance:NoneOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy:Dobbs Defense Solutions is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
