Doane University, a liberal arts university with campuses in Crete and Lincoln and an Omaha Location, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Engineering with an anticipated start date of August 2027. The selected candidate will join the growing Engineering & Physics department, which offers an ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering with specializations in mechanical, civil, electrical, and integrated engineering. Anticipated responsibilities include teaching 24 credit hours per year, supervising engineering design projects, engaging undergraduate students in research, advising majors, and participating actively in the life of the department and university.Open to all engineering disciplines, although preference will be given to mechanical, civil, electrical, or interdisciplinary engineering candidates that would complement the expertise and talent pool of the current faculty. The ideal candidate will be able to teach core engineering courses required of all engineering majors, physics courses, and emphasis area courses within the candidate's discipline.
