Position Summary
The Fine and Performing Arts Production Event and Recruitment Specialist works to support the School of Fine and Performing Arts. The individual will work closely with faculty in the recruitment of Fine and Performing Arts students and the planning and overseeing of events associated with the Music, Art, and Theatre programs. The individual will employ strong interpersonal skills with responsibilities including planning and oversight of events, event ticketing, recruiting, tour planning, data tracking, program copy and proofing, phone inquiries, supervision of student employees, and occasional assisting with day-to-day tasks. Some travel, evenings, and weekends are required, with advance notice of such commitments given.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience planning, coordinating, and executing events. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at the same time
- Highly detail-oriented and accurate
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and self-initiate projects
- Comfortable learning new computer software and technology skills
- Strong writing and proofreading skills
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree and a background in fine arts are preferred.

MS Word, Excel, Canva, Google Drive, Dropbox, Gmail, and Google Surveys.
