Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations and upselling beverages to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and processing payments swiftly and accurately.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and compliance with alcohol service regulations, especially in nightclub or banquet settings.
- Restock bar supplies, ingredients, glassware, and utensils as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff or catering teams during events or banquets to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales tracking, and accurate measurement of ingredients for drink preparation.
- Ability to work effectively in high-energy settings such as brewing establishments or food industry venues requiring quick thinking and adaptability.
