Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated (box truck 26’ with a lift gate)owner operator Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with the job. This contract is Mon- Saturday (6am-8pm)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks.
• Load and unload products at various delivery points, ensuring items are handled with care.
• Follow designated routes for efficient delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, receipts, and any discrepancies encountered during transport.

Experience

• Previous experience in route driving or as a courier is preferred.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous.
• Background in warehouse operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
