Driver Helper

We have an exciting opportunity for a Driver Helper to join our DO&CO Family in our New York unit.   What we offer:   Estimated pay rate - $19.10/hourly. The opportunity to work with and represent one of the most innovative players in the luxury global gourmet entertainment market.   Responsibilities:   Transport meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between the DO & CO Facilities and third-party vendors, and the airport. Load/unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline regulations, specifications and equipment handling. Ensure flights are always catered for correctly. Cater to DO & CO’s client’s airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely. Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and report any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately. Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations and all applicable rules/regulations.   In case you don’t know who we are We have a passion for hospitality culinary delights on every banquet floor and in the sky. Ability to meet requirements necessary to obtain a PANYNJ ID (Port Authority NY/NJ) per TSA regulations and, more specifically, 49 CFR §1542.209).   Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds. Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet. Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8 hours. Communicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by co-workers.
