Responsibilities:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of DO&CO.

Responsibilities:
- Supervises the third party cleaning vendor to ensure all areas of the facility (ies) and projects are maintained on a proper sanitation and cleaning schedule that meets DO & CO hygiene standards.
- Maintains the routine locker cleaning and partners with the Hygiene and Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that the unit meets the company’s, industries’ and regulatory standards for sanitation.
- Works closely with the vendor(s) to order and maintain food grade chemicals within the facility.
- Keeps appropriate par levels of these items and work with necessary managers who also have chemical usages.
- Ensures MSDS are in place for all chemicals and any necessary PPE is available and trained for usage.
- Ensures Safety Data Sheets are current, as well as Chemical Supplier Specifications are in place for all chemicals and any necessary PPE is available and trained for usage.
- Develops and Maintains Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures. Verifies Chemical Titrations with Chemical Supplier.
- Daily Chemical Concentration of dispensing equipment.
- Assists in Analyzing sanitation data in order to identify trends and continual improvement opportunities.
- Provides support before/during customer audits, health department inspections, or any other scheduled or unscheduled audits/inspections.
- Implements and maintain daily sanitation schedules.
- Coordinates with Food Safety and Hygiene on Environmental Testing.
- Develops and Maintains Environmental Testing Program
- Monitors hygiene training and development of other staff directly and/or indirectly and provides coaching, direction and leadership support to staff in the form of new hire orientation, retraining, annual retraining, etc.
- Partners with supervisors and HR to implement corrective action as needed when hygiene protocols are not followed.

- Participate in new hire orientation and conduct annual training as necessary
- Investigate accidents, prepare and maintain required reports
- Promote a proactive safety culture
- Maintain, review and report quality performance
Positions directly reporting to this position:
- Janitors
- Potwasher
- Knowledge in HACCP, ISO, and food safety systems
- Food Safety Certification, state specific if applicable
- HACCP Certificate preferred
- Proactive and self-organized
- Ability to manage through a substantial workload
- Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)
- Minimum 3 years of experience within catering setup
- Bachelor’s degree Preferred
- Good Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
