Responsibilities:
- Transport meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between the DO & CO Facilities and third party vendors, and the airport.
- Load/unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline regulations, specifications and equipment handling.
- Ensure flights are catered correctly at all times.
- Cater to DO & CO’s client’s airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely.
- Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and reports any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately.
- Comply with all LAX, CBP, DOT and all other applicable rules/regulations.
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations and all applicable rules/regulations.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the Supervisor to support business operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to manage through a substantial workload.
- Able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
- Able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet.
- Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Able to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
- Pay Rate: $25.52 hourly.
