What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator - Commericial Construction position at Do All Drywall Inc.?
We're a growing drywall company in the Hartford area, looking for a Estimator, with at least 5 years of experience. You’ll be responsible for estimating costs for drywall & steel stud framing, preparing detailed breakdowns, and managing key communication between Foremen, Contractors, and suppliers. Experience with On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Review construction documents to create accurate bids.
- Prepare project cost estimates from RFQs, drawings, and pre-bid meetings.
- Keep estimating tools and databases updated.
- Maintain constant communication with contractors and suppliers.
Qualifications:
- 5 years in estimating and project management.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- In-Person ONLY. NO REMOTE WORK.
Compensation:
- Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year.
- Benefits: 401(k) matching, health, dental, and vision insurance.
