Local Unit & Position Description
DNV Business Assurance North America is seeking an ISO 20000/27001 Lead Auditor for our Quality Management System service line with Integrated Lead Auditor competency. As third-party auditors, we assist clients of all sizes in achieving and maintaining internationally recognized certifications to guarantee the quality of their products.
This position is based out of our offices in AZ, FL, GA, IL, MI, MO, NE, OH, PA, TX, SC, NC, NJ, CA, and Washington D.C. with travel up to 90%.
What You’ll Do
- Perform 3rd-party ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 audits for North American clients
- Perform 3rd party onsite ISO 9001/14001/45001 audits for North America customers, as applicable
- Provide timely and accurate reviews of customer corrective action and closure
- Provide customers with timely, complete, and accurate reports of their current level of compliance or implementation of their quality management system
- Document and report audit activities and results
- Maintain schedule of audit activity
- Maintain appropriate auditor credentials and pursues advancement of those credentials and other related credentials as needed
- Contribute to the growth and development of a world-class, industry-leading auditing team
Position Qualifications
What is Required
- Current Lead Auditor certification for ICT (ISO 27001) and any combination of QMS (9001), EMS (14001), OHSAS (45001), and/or ISO 20000
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering AND/OR 5 years’ industry work experience in lieu of degree
- 2 years’ experience in the following industries preferred:
- Information Security/Cybersecurity
- ICT
- Metal Industry
- Machinery
- Oil & Gas
- 4 years, full-time workplace experience in information technology, with two (2) years in a role relating to information security
- Able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs in addition to transporting one’s own luggage for multiple-day travel and push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel with that which is lifted, carried, or transported.
- Able to walk and stand for up to 4 hours at a time and maneuver throughout multiple levels of client sites either by stairs or elevator
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
