What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Care Technician position at DNR Janitorial Services?
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Care Technician with experience in floor and carpet care along with window cleaning. Starting pay will be at $15.00 an hour. Schedule will vary from PM to weekends depending on request of the building. Candidate will have a strong background in commercial cleaning and floor care. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE. We travel out of town with hotels and meals included. Transportation will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine floor care tasks including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing hard surface floors.
- Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate methods and equipment to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned according to established procedures and standards, focusing on quality and detail.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment needs to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental services guidelines while performing all cleaning tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, carpet cleaning, and general maintenance practices.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
