What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at DNR Janitorial Services?
We are seeking to hire someone with custodial experience for a call center in the McAllen area. Schedule will be Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm (35 hours a week) at $13.00 an hour. If interested please send in a resume.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocol adherence
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks while practicing safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, waste removal, and ensuring compliance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven custodial experience with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices and chemical handling safety procedures
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
