It’s 5:45 PM in our climate-controlled Concord, NC facility. You pick up your work orders, check the PM queue, and head out to the line. A conveyor needs a quick alignment, a PLC fault requires a keen eye, and scheduled preventive maintenance keeps our high-quality printing media operation humming through the night. By 6:15 AM, you’ve left detailed shift reports that keep the momentum going for the next team.
Schedule
12-hour schedule on a 2-2-3 rotation, 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM.

What you’ll tackle
- Execute preventive maintenance on production machinery, facility systems, and conveyor equipment to maximize uptime.
- Pinpoint root causes by watching machines in motion, listening for abnormalities, and using precision test instruments.
- Lay out, install, calibrate, and service electrical systems: wiring, motors, switches, switchboards, and related mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues quickly to prevent unplanned shutdowns.
- Diagnose mechanical faults, determine corrective actions, and perform tear-down and rebuild work as needed.
- Document your work: produce clear maintenance shift reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and work orders.

What you bring
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of automated production machinery and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints, OEM documentation, and wiring diagrams.
- Comfort using precision gauges, multimeters, and basic machine shop tools.
- Capability to stand and walk through a 12-hour shift.
- Completion of 24/40-hour HAZWOPER training and medical qualification to wear respiratory protection.
- Strength to push/pull/lift at least 45 lbs. solo and 50 lbs. with a teammate.
- Ability to pass a spirometry exam for respirator fit testing.
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, HAZWOPER, and ISO14001.

Compensation and benefits
