The hiring manager is looking for Tenured Boiler Engineer with field experience, and specifically entering and inspecting, monitoring boilers used to make steam | package boilers, ASME codes, combustion tuning, repairs, Burner Management Systems (BMS), High Pressure Boilers
We’re hiring engineers to join a critical steam plant systems engineering team supporting boiler system design, upgrades, and project execution for large utility-scale generation facilities. Ideal for those with experience in power plant engineering, pressure vessels, and steam systems.
What You’ll Do
- Provide engineering support for boiler systems including pressure vessels, headers, and steam piping
- Develop project scope, technical specifications, and design packages for capital improvements
- Perform calculations for steam, condensate, and feedwater systems in accordance with ASME codes
- Coordinate with plant operations, consultants, and OEM vendors during project implementation
- Oversee design reviews, construction, and commissioning of boiler system modifications
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and emergency response as needed
- Maintain project records, equipment drawings, and databases for plant systems
Senior Engineer Level
- Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in Mechanical Engineering
- 8 years’ experience in power generation or Boiler in Generation Plant
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license strongly preferred
- Ability to lead large engineering projects and mentor junior staff
Compensation & Benefits
- Sr. Engineer: $120K – $150K base
