Role Description
This is a 100% traveling, full-time, on-site role for an In-Building Cabling Technician. The technician will be responsible for installing and maintaining structured cabling systems. Day-to-day tasks include pulling, terminating, and testing cables, as well as setting up network equipment. The technician will travel to various job sites to perform installations and maintenance, ensuring all work is up to industry standards and client specifications.
Qualifications
- Structured Cabling and Termination skills
- Experience with Fiber Optic, CCTV, and Access Control systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Capability to work independently and in a team-environment
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 100% of the time
- Previous experience in telecommunications or low-voltage installations is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are advantageous
