We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Project Manager (APM) / Project Manager to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills who can coordinate effectively with project managers, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, material procurement, and deliveries.
- Track project schedules, budgets, costs, and change orders.
- Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, purchase orders, and other project documentation.
- Communicate with field personnel to monitor job progress and resolve issues.
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, invoices, and subcontractor coordination.
- Monitor project deadlines and help ensure work meets quality and safety requirements.
- Maintain organized project files and support project closeout activities.
- Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction project management or project coordination.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, plans, and specifications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required with relevant experience.
