About You and the Role:
- You collaborate with ease across diverse departments to implement our people initiatives that support the company's growth and success.
- You are an expert in stakeholder engagement, understand the intricacies of consultation within a unionised environment and know how to build strong trusted relationships from the frontline up.
- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on HR-related matters and fostering a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with managers to address employee relations issues, performance management, and talent development.
- Drive organisational change initiatives and support in the execution of HR programs.
- Partner with the recruitment team to attract, select, and onboard top talent aligned with business needs.
- Analyse HR metrics and trends to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Conduct training sessions on various HR-related topics to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- No matter what it is you're always ready to roll your sleeves up.
- Proven experience as a P&C Business Partner or similar role in blue collar/ unionised environment, with knowledge of HR/IR functions and best practices; if you gained that experience in the Aviation industry even better!
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and handle sensitive HR issues with professionalism in a complex fast pace environment;
- Qualification in Human Resources and/or Industrial Relations, or related field.
- Must be willing and able to travel to other states
