Seasonal CDL Driver – JFK

Temporary Assignment | VIP Catering Support

The Seasonal CDL Driver will support United Assembly Catering operations based at JFK by safely transporting catering products, supplies, and equipment between designated airport locations. This is a temporary/seasonal assignment requiring significant schedule and location flexibility based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company high-loaders in accordance with DOT, airport, and company safety requirements.
• Pick up and deliver catering products, supplies, and equipment between JFK International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), and New York Stewart International Airport (SWF).
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Assist with loading and unloading products and equipment as required.
• Complete required vehicle inspections, delivery documentation, and transportation records.
• Follow all food safety, security, airport, and company procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch, operations, and customer teams.

Requirements

• Valid CDL A or B with Air-brake endorsement License and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT and company driver requirements.
• Ability to safely load, unload, lift, and move catering products and equipment.
• Must be flexible to report to and/or travel between JFK, EWR, and Stewart Airport based on operational needs.
• Schedule flexibility is essential, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and changes in work location or schedule.

This is a temporary seasonal position. Work schedules, hours, and airport assignments may vary based on business and customer needs.

• New York: In accordance with Article 23-A of the New York Correction Law and the New York Human Rights Law, background checks will be conducted only as permitted by law, and any employment decision based on criminal history will follow required legal standards and notice requirements.
• Massachusetts: Pursuant to the Massachusetts Consumer Reporting Act (M.G.L. c. 93, § 52 et seq.) and the Massachusetts CORI statute (M.G.L. c. 6, § 172), dnata Catering may obtain a consumer report or criminal offender record information for employment purposes, consistent with state law. Applicants may request a copy of any report obtained.
• New Jersey: In accordance with the New Jersey Opportunity to Compete Act (N.J.S.A. 34:6B-11 et seq.) and applicable consumer reporting laws, background checks will be conducted only as permitted by law, and applicants will receive required notices and rights regarding any consumer report obtained.
• Texas: Background checks may be conducted in accordance with applicable Texas law and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Applicants will receive required disclosures and authorizations prior to any consumer report being obtained.
• Tennessee: Background checks may be conducted in accordance with applicable Tennessee law and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Applicants will receive required disclosures and authorizations prior to any consumer report being obtained.
