An opportunity has arisen for an experienced strong GP Veterinary Surgeon to join our progressive, friendly and highly experienced independent team at our 24 hospital- Mead Vet Centre in Dartford, Kent.
We are a well equipped practice with all the usual equipment and gadgets! We are looking for a vet who is confident with routine surgery and ideally a medicine bias. Ideally looking for a vet 2 years out. Working alongside certificate holders - you'll be seeing an interesting and varied caseload.
The transport links are fantastic, the area is amazing and the team morale high!
We offer an obscene amount of high value CPD, Certificate Support and progression as we genuinely want your career to fly, and that's why we hold quarterly reviews with our vets to discuss equipment, caseload and more.
We have the best vets and equipment in Kent however, what we are really missing is a further fantastic vet which could be YOU.

Claire Baker joined Alan and Dane as a Director in 2019, originally arriving at the main London hospital in 2013 as a locum. Claire heads up the Group’s operations and vet team recruitment.

- This is a full-time role
- Working 40 hours per week over 4 days or we can consider 3 days a week - 12 hour shifts with 1:4 weekends (with time back in lieu the following week!)
- Up to £90,000 DOE
- Working with Cert holders - Surgery, Exotics, Medicine, Endo, Imaging and many more!
- Cert holders would be desired but not essential
- Amazing and supportive team
