DMY Engineering Consultants Inc. is seeking a Staff Geologist or Staff Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The candidate may be working out of our Chantilly, VA or Columbia, MD office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate geotechnical field work.
- Use GIS and GPS to aid in planning and executing geotechnical field work.
- Geotechnical field sampling.
- Log geotechnical test borings and investigations.
- Prepare boring logs using gINT.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Civil Engineering or related Science.
- 0-1 years of professional experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong work ethic and a desire for continual self-improvement.
- Willingness and ability to perform field work and travel
- Ability to lift 60 pounds and be physically able to work in uneven terrain.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Prior internship or professional work in a related field.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screening.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
