DMY Engineering Consultants, the leader in delivering integrated engineering solutions throughout the life cycle of public and private sector projects, is seeking Stand Out Senior Construction Engineering Inspectors for VDOT Projects in the Hampton Roads area! Day shift and night shift positions available.
Construction Inspectors Responsibilities
· Performing daily inspections
· Testing of construction materials, as needed
· Documenting findings and submit a daily report
· Effective and diplomatic communication with job site supervisor and crew
· Notifying Engineer or Project Manager of deficiencies and concerns
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
· Effective written and oral English communication skills
· Integrity, collaboration, and dedication to clients
· ACI Concrete Field Certification required
· VDOT Soils & Aggregate Certification required
· VDOT Asphalt I & II required
· VDOT Intermediate Workzone required
-DEQ/VDOT Erosion and Sediment Control Certification required
· Comfortable getting hands dirty
· Ability to lift 45 pounds
· Detail oriented
· Dependable and Flexible
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
