Position: Point Of Sale QA Analyst (Onsite)
Location: Louisville, KY (Relocation Ok)
Duration : 6 months
Job Description:
• Software Testing
• Test Management
• Test Case Design
• Defect Tracking
• Retail Workflows
Key Responsibilities :
•Design, create, and maintain test scenarios and test cases aligned with functional requirements.
•Prepare and manage test data to ensure availability in the test environment.
•Log, track, and retest defects in a timely manner using test management tools.
•Communicate testing progress, risks, and status effectively to the Test Lead and QA Manager.
•Support issue resolution and drive defects through to closure.
•Deliver high-quality outputs aligned with business and application requirements.
•Complete assigned tasks within deadlines based on priorities set by the Business
Required Qualifications :
•Hands-on experience in testing POS transactions and retail workflows.
•Experience designing and executing test cases for:
oSales, returns, exchanges, and refunds
oPromotions, discounts, and tax calculations
oTender types (cash, credit/debit cards, gift cards)
•Strong understanding of retail business processes.
•Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative).
•Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, or similar test management tools.
•Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
