We are seeking a full-time Class A Mobile Medical Driver/Field Operations Representative who is responsible for transporting sophisticated medical equipment via tractor-trailer combination, to customer sites in North America. Manages the delivery and setup of mobile imaging system to medical facilities. Ensures it is satisfactory condition, working properly and resolves issues promptly. Partners with the Interim Operations Manager to coordinate the schedule, travel, and all business assignments for delivery and setup of mobile systems.

Essential Duties:

1. Transports mobile medical units to facilities in North America to assemble and install medical imaging devices which includes rigging, unpacking, and setting the devices in place.
2. Coordinates the installation of equipment at facilities to ensure full functionality according to the specifications of delivery.
3. Inspects equipment and performs brief service on safety and operation functions.
4. Ensures all aspects of setup upon delivery are complete and in working order.
5. Follow preventative maintenance guidelines.
6. Performs quality assurance for all equipment.
7. Coordinates problem resolution and preventative maintenance with appropriate service vendors to ensure high-quality and dependable equipment.
8. Key communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure effective services are provided and aligned with company standards of service.
9. Compliance with all safety policies and regulations, including radiation safety as applicable.
10. Maintaining the truck and trailer which includes checking and maintaining the fire extinguishers, patient lift, smoke detectors, and emergency lighting and scheduling and documenting preventive maintenance as necessary.
11. Inspect the truck before and after each trip and submit a report indicating truck conditions.
12. Maintaining driver logs according to DOT regulations.
13. May assist the technologist with various duties including transporting patients from the facility to the mobile unit and back.
14. This position will require you to travel 100% of the time.

Education and/or Experience

• One year recent truck driving experience.
• Must be 23 years of age.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• Clean MVR
  • No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years.
  • No major violations in the last 5 years (reckless driving, DUI, etc.).
  • No felonies last 5 years.
  • No major preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
• Must pass DOT Background Check including drug screen.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• The ability to work independently, make decisions, work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.

Computer Skills

• The individual should have the ability to access job related internet websites, email, fluent in use of ELD (can train in ELD).

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Testing

• CDL - Class A, mandatory education, CPR, Hepatitis B, TB, and other vaccinations.
• Valid DOT medical card.

Physical Demands 

• Stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel and crawl.
• Climb up and down stairs.
• Lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Push and pull wheelchair.
